North Queensland also provides a wealth of extra curricular activities and team building opportunities including day trips to the Great Barrier Reef, sailing in the Whitsundays, Rainforest walks in the Daintree, the Rainforest Skyrail or Scenic Railway to Kuranda in the Cairns hinterland.

A selection of accommodation options is also available to Conference Organisers from 5 star Hotels or holiday Apartments to less expensive 3 and 4 star hotels. These hotels and serviced holiday apartments can provide delegates with a tropical resort style of experience or they can be a more business orientated hotel or, of course they can be a mixture of both.
The hotels will be able to offer guests business facilities such as facilities such as high speed internet access, work desks & direct dial telephones while leisure facilities could include day spa with relaxation therapies, lagoon style swimming pools, spa's, tennis courts and tour desks to help with sight seeing activities when the working day is done.
For conferences where delegates will be arriving from destinations in other parts of Australia the tropical north of Queensland is well supported by a variety of transport options and including the International Airport at Cairns and other regional airports at both the Whitsunday Coast and Townsville.
