Palm Cove is one of the beautiful beach front communities situated north of Cairns between lush Tropical Rainforests and the azure waters of the great barrier Reef. An easy 15 -20 minute drive on newly sealed highways will get you to Palm Cove from Cairns.

Once here you will find an appealing beach front village where no architecture exceeds the the height of the coconut trees. A colourful mix of architectural styles with a blend of the colonial, tropical southern Asian and the style that has become to recognised as modern tropical north will delight you. Along the main road are a myriad of Beachside Restaurants, boutique shops and cafes.

The Reef Retreat Palm Cove - Serviced and furnished Holiday Accommodation Options

Built in stages and experiencing ongoing renovations, the self-contained apartments at Reef Retreat are set among lushly landscaped tropical gardens. The Studios originally created in 1987 and remodelled in 2006 in that appealing and airy architectural style of the Tropical North all have kitchenette and private balcony. The Studios are an open plan design with sleeping, living area and kitchenette within the layout. The Reef Retreat Studios face the tropical garden pool with mountains as a back drop.

The Reef Retreat Suits were constructed in 1995 and remodelled in 2006 offer their guests privacy of 2 rooms with the living area a kitchenette separated from the sleeping area by architecturally designed western red cedar sliding doors. The Suites spacious balconies open to the exotic gardens and pool

The Spa Suites at the Reef Retreat Palm Cove, followed a similar building and remodelling schedule schedule as the suites. The also offer guests a 2 bedroom experience with lush sleeping quarters and sumptuous bathroom and spa separated from airy living and kitchenette area which opens to the Verandah - all nestled among the giant paperbark trees.

The Luxury Two Bedroom Villas at Reef Retreat, Palm Cove offers tropical opulence throughout. From the cathedral ceilings of the living room, Western Red Cedar features and spa bath. If you plan to stay outside of Cairn on your Tropical North Queensland vacation, the Reef Retreat at Palm Cove would be a good accommodation option.

The Reef Retreat - Charges and Conditions

• Rates: Rates quoted are for the number of people shown - extra persons up to maximum occupancy add A$27.50 per night . Infants free if no bedding required. Please add $27.50/ night for an extra Infant's cot. rollaway Bed or sofa bed
• Room Service: Rooms are serviced once every 5 nights.
  • Stays of 5 nights include one service.
  • Stays of 4 nights or less do not include a service. Clean towels are available from reception on non-serviced days.
  • Extra full service cleans are available for a One bedroom at $36, for an extra person $5 and for a Two bedrooms at $48
• Airport Transfers: Airport Transfers: Adult A$20 per person one way. Children (3-14 years) A$10 per person one way

Usual Season Booking, Charge and Cancellation Policy:

• A deposit equal to 10% of the full stay will be charged at the time of making the booking.
• This amount is non-refundable if the stay is shortened or cancelled for any reason.
• The remaining 90% of the accommodation costs will be paid directly to the hotel during your stay
• Cancellations within 7 days of booked arrival will incur an additional fee equal to the cost of the first nights accommodation. (on top of the 10% deposit)
• By proceeding with the booking it is understood the the above conditions have been accepted.
