All rooms and suites at The Sebel Reef House are derived from the Queenslander experience, opening up to the tropical environment with indoor-outdoor living. The Sebel Reef House and Spa features 3 separate and beautiful pools. These three pristine pools are framed by shaded pathways and vibrant tropical flora, creating a magnificent backdrop to candle-lit corridors and white wash buildings.

Take your pick from 2 picturesque freshwater pools (one of which is shaded by a unique suspended canopy), a sheltered saltwater pool or 2 inviting Jacuzzis (one of which is heated).

Reef House Restaurant

Set on a large covered wooden deck overlooking a palm lined esplanade and white sandy beach, our signature restaurant enjoys unsurpassed ocean views and gentle sea breezes. This superb setting alone would be reason enough to visit, however the cuisine created by Executive Chef Philip Mitchell stands out as a highlight of the "Reef House experience". Focusing on this prime local produce, the menu has an eclectic feel with Mediterranean, Asian and traditional influences blending to create a truly unique modern Australian cuisine. Careful preparation of the individual ingredients and simple execution in their combination is the key to Philip Mitchell's creations, reflecting the very best the region has to offer.

Poolside Cafe

Situated alongside a pristine blue pool and cascading waterfall this is a lovely sheltered area which is surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Open daily for lunch, it can also be used for private functions such as gourmet barbecues, formal farewell dinners and cocktail parties. Theming options are available

The Brigadier's Bar

Make yourself at home - help yourself to this fully stocked bar which operates on a unique honesty system. A relaxing, semi-outdoor area with comfy couches, wooden outdoor furniture, a collection of artefacts from the Brigadier's travels, a baby grand piano and a comprehensive selection of newspapers, games and magazines.

Reef House Spa

The brand new Health Spa is one of the only purpose-built Spa’s in the region, setting a new industry benchmark and enhancing Palm Cove’s position as the emerging ‘Spa Capital’ of Tropical North Queensland (Palm Cove was also recently named as Australia’s Cleanest Beach for 2003).

Voted Number 1 in the coveted 2005 Readers' Spa Awards (Australia/South Pacific) category of UK's famous Conde Nast Traveller publication, and 10th best Spa in the world, the Health Spa occupies a freestanding 2-storey building that reflects the timeless tropical style of the hotel

An open-air Reception area on the ground floor flows through to 3 tranquil treatment rooms, with an internal staircase leading up to the ‘Serenity Verandah’ and 2 dual treatment rooms (each with a private Jacuzzi). Furnishings are state of the art including 2 Vichy Showers. A magnificent leaf-shaped signature massage table has been handcrafted from ancient recycled Melaleuca wood.

The facility is operated by ESpa (Exclusive Spa's of Australia), renowned for their luxurious 'Li'Tya' treatments - a unique range of natural Spa products that integrate the precious qualities of the Australian earth and spirit. Brigadier Room

Elegantly designed to capture the charm of the original Brigadier's house, these studio-style rooms feature a balcony or terrace with a swinging double lounge. the bathroom has a shower only (all other room types have shower & bath). These rooms overlook pristine pools and tropical gardens.

Brigadier Beachfront Spa Room

Elegantly designed to capture the charm of the original Brigadier's house, these recently refurbished studio-style rooms feature a balcony or terrace with a swinging double lounge. The bathroom has a decadent rainfall shower with oversized shower rose. These rooms feature a double spa bath inside the room and ocean views from every window.

Verandah Room

Opening onto a wide verandah, these rooms capture the stylish elegance of tropical living. They are also studio-style (although more spacious than the Brigadier rooms) and are designed for indoor/outdoor living. They feature a large covered verandah with a variety of wooden furniture.

Verandah Spa Room

Perfect for honeymooners or a romantic escape, these spacious rooms are similar to the Verandah Rooms, with the luxurious addition of a private double spa bath on the Verandah.

Family Room

Ideal for groups of up to 4-5 people, these rooms consists of a main living area with king size bed, and a separate bedroom with two single beds. An outdoor terrace area features a variety of wooden furniture. Suited to families where parents don't need the privacy of a separate bedroom. These elevated rooms overlook pristine pools and tropical gardens.

Beachfront Suite

Directly overlooking beautiful Palm Cove beach, these suites enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. They consist of a spacious living area opening onto a beach-facing balcony. A separate bedroom also looks directly over the beach, and has an ensuite bathroom.

Endeavour Suite

Perfect for families who prefer two separate bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom. A separate living area features comfortable sofas. An elevated terrace area with a variety of wooden furniture overlooks the pools and gardens. This suite enjoys sweeping views over the entire resort.

Reef Suite

This is our premier suite. If offers commanding views over beautiful Palm Cove beach and out to the sparkling Coral Sea. There are 2 separate bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. A central living area is located between the bedrooms, opening onto a large beach-facing balcony.
