The opening up of the Far North of Queensland to tourism has brought Port Douglas from a sleepy fishing village into the 21st Century in less than a generation. Port Douglas still retains much of its tiny township charm. It still has no traffic lights or parking meters and has no plans to install them. Port Douglas now boast some of the finest dining experiences in its many restaurants and cafes, Queensland has to offer. Usual Season Booking, Charge and Cancellation Policy:

  • A deposit equal to 10% of the full stay will be charged at the time of making the booking.
  • This amount is non-refundable if the stay is shortened or cancelled for any reason.
  • The remaining 90% of the accommodation costs will be paid directly to the hotel during your stay
  • Cancellation or shortening of stay more than 28 days prior to booked arrival date will be charged a further $50 admin fee.
  • Cancellation or shortening of stay within 28 days of booked arrival date will be charged the full cost of booked stay.
  • Failure to show for the booking or shortening of stay once commenced will be charged the full cost of booked stay.
  • By proceeding with the booking it is understood the the above conditions have been accepted.
