Voyages Bedarra Island is an exclusive private hideaway. A romantic rainforest

When you simply don't wish to be found, when you need to escape, unwind
and experience the finer things in life, there is no better place to disappear to than Voyages Bedarra
Island. This is Australia’s most exclusive resort, an indulgent tropical private haven, lying off
the coast of Cairns.
At Bedarra, guests can do as they wish, when they wish. A maximum of
just 32 guests are accommodated in 16 secluded Villas, each hidden in the rainforest, only minutes
from the beach. Superbly appointed, each has a separate living area, spacious bathroom and king
size bed. On the balcony, guests can relax in a hammock and contemplate the beauty and calm of this
elegant retreat.
The cuisine is exquisite here. The tantalising menus change daily, with
an emphasis on fresh seafood and exotic tropical produce. A popular lunch option is a romantic beach
picnic with a gourmet hamper.
While the focus on Bedarra Island is on peace and relaxation, there are
also many activities to enjoy, such as catamaran sailing, paddle-skiing, fishing, snorkelling and
diving day trips to the Great Barrier Reef, as well as motorised dinghies for exploring the island’s
picturesque, private beaches. Feel like more indulgence? Enjoy a relaxing therapeutic massage on
the beach or in the privacy of your Villa.
The daily tariff includes all meals and an open bar. Children under 16
years of age are not catered for.
On Bedarra, you set your own agenda. There are many ways to fill the
day but a beach picnic comes highly recommended. You set off by boat with a hamper fit for royalty
to discover one of the many secluded bays. Bedarra often has more beaches then guests, so your privacy
is assured.

Getting to Dunk Island
Air Transfers
Regular flights are available from all major Australian capital cities
to Dunk Island (DKI) via Cairns (CNS) with Qantas (QF) and Virgin Blue.
Macair operates the connecting flight between Cairns and Dunk Island.
The flight takes 45 minutes. Charter flights are also available through Skytrans
Baggage Allowance: Passengers may be restricted to one suitcase and one
small carry-on item of hand luggage each. A limit of 16kg applies (subject to loading restrictions)
Coach & Boat Transfer
Mission Beach Dunk Island Connections operate services between Northern
Beaches, Cairns Airport and Cairns City twice daily to connect with the Quickcat to Dunk Island.
Port Douglas transfers available on request. Transfer time is approximately 3 hours.

Boat Transfer
The Quickcat (+61 7 4068 7289 or 1800 654 242) departs Clump Point (2
hours south of Cairns) to Dunk Island and return twice daily. The transfer takes 20 minutes each
way.
