Beach Front Rooms

If you are looking for luxury Whitsundays Accommodation our Beach Front Rooms offer you the perfect location. The rooms are set within metres of our beautiful, sandy beach and provide the perfect spot for viewing the sunset over the reef in Happy Bay.

The Beach Front Whitsundays Accommodation features air-conditioning, colour TV, ensuite bathroom, in-house movies, phone, radio, fridge, room safe, balcony, iron & ironing board.

Garden Rooms

If you are looking for luxury Accommodation in the Whitsundays our Garden Rooms offer you the perfect location. The rooms overlook the lush gardens featuring palms, ferns, flowers and green grass. If you're quiet you can even watch some of the wildlife feasting on the grass in the evenings.

The Garden room accommodation in the Whitsundays features air-conditioning, colour TV, ensuite bathroom, in-house movies, phone, radio, fridge, room safe, balcony, iron & ironing board, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities.

Lodge Room

If your looking for budget Whitsundays accommodation for your next island escape try one of our Lodge Rooms. Set in the lush, tropical gardens of Long Island, these rooms provide share accommodation for up to 4 people, and still allow you full use of all of the resort's facilities. This means that the Lodge Rooms are able to provide you with the perfect budget Whitsundays accommodation.

Long Island Resort Whitsunday's - Getting There

The Whitsunday's are serviced by two domestic airports, Great Barrier Reef Airport on Hamilton Island and Whitsunday Coast Airport on the mainland at Proserpine. Flying time is approximately 1.5 hours north of Brisbane, 2 hours north of Sydney, 3 hours from Melbourne and 1.5 hours from Cairns to Hamilton. Direct services operate from Cairns, Brisbane Sydney and Melbourne, with domestic and international connections via Brisbane, Sydney and Cairns airports.

From Great Barrier Reef Airport (Hamilton Island) Fantasea Cruises meet flights for a comfortable 30 minute catamaran cruise to Long Island Island.

From Whitsunday Coast Airport (Proserpine) regular Whitsunday Transit Coaches meet all flights for a 30 minute transfer to Shute Harbour where Fantasea Cruises Blue Ferries provide a regular 15 minute service to Long Island Resort.

Option Extra and Cancellation Policy

• Children Children 3-16 years cost A$65 per night.
• Extra Bed A roll-away bed can be added for a 3rd Child (extra A$10 + cost of Child) however this does restrict the floor space in the room and can make the room feel cramped.
• Long Island Resort Whitsunday's - Booking Conditions
• Rates provided are Low Season rates
• High Season (Christmas/New Year - 24th December to 10th January) a 3 night minimum stay is required
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 48 hours of Arrival will incur a fee equal to the first nights accommodation charges
