Bramption Island is located at the southern end of the world-renowned Whitsunday Island Passage, which offers a holiday escape with fantastic value. This large and beautiful National Park Island is surrounded by sparkling azure waters, twelve white sandy beaches, coral gardens and an array of National Park walking and jogging tracks - each affording spectacular views and the perfect spot to stop for a picnic.

Brampton offers a huge variety of activities - from fast and furious water sports, hiking, golf and tennis, to relaxing by the pool or enjoying a rejuvenating massage. For couples and groups, friends and family, Brampton Island has accommodation and activities to suit everyone.

With fewer rooms than many of the resorts at the nearby Whitsunday Group of Islands, and with no day trippers to interrupt, you will undoubtedly find a special place to unwind and enjoy. Just off shore is a diverse range of fringing reefs where you can snorkel and experience what the reef has to offer. Brampton Island is all about fun, adventure and pure escapism.

What to Bring
Casual resort style clothing for daytime, smart casual for after 6pm. Also include suitable footwear for beach and island walks.

Access
Airport access - Mackay and Hamilton Island with Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Blue

Airport Transfer
Australasian Jet operates flights daily from Mackay to Brampton Island (transfer time: 15 mins, bookings are made through Brampton with a minimum of 2 passengers)

Baggage Allowance
Passengers are restricted to 20 kg of luggage (15kg checked luggage, 5kg hand luggage) Please note soft side baggage is preferred.

Sea Connections
A courtesy coach transfers guests from Mackay Marina. A launch departs Mackay Marina daily at 2pm and arrives to Brampton Island at 3.15pm. The return trip from Brampton Island departs daily at 3.20pm and arrives at Mackay Airport at 4.30pm. Bookings can be made through Brampton. The service does not operate on Christmas Day.
